BIC/NAPIA MEETING

The Bean Improvement Cooperative holds a biennial meeting at which members and colleagues from a number of diverse disciplines can interact and exchange information on bean improvement. A complete history of past meetings, locations, presidents and membership is provided. The 50th anniversary of the BIC was celebrated in October 2007 in Madison Wisconsin, home of the original meeting of the BIC held in 1959. Details on the 50 year history of the BIC and the Presidents who served the BIC for the last 50+ years can be found in the pdf files below. The next meeting will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico in October 2011.
