2000 Water Sciences Graduate Fellowship
Application Procedure

To be eligible for consideration, the applicant  must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident not currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program at Michigan State University (MSU). To apply for a Water Science Fellowship, complete and submit the hyperlinked MSU graduate admission form.   Please give special attention to the preparation of your statement of purpose (Item 25) by making sure to include how your research interests would specifically relate to USDA National Needs in Water Science Training Program. In addition, please arrange for official transcripts of your undergraduate and graduate records, GRE scores, and three letters of recommendation to be sent DIRECTLY TO Dr. Alvin J.M. We look forward to receiving these materials by the June 30, 2000 deadline. We plan to complete our evaluation and notify all applicants no later than July 31, 2000.
