Application Form Information

Designation of variety or line:
Name of the entry exactly as it is marketed to growers. Please include any prior name that the line may have been tested under in previous MSU trials. If the name is changed at any time during the 2008 trial, it is the responsibility of the proprietor to notify Michigan State University of this change prior to publication of the test results.

Previous testing: Indicate years (i.e. ‘06, ‘07) the line has previously been tested in the MSU program.Maturity group: Number must include one decimal place (i.e. 2.3).Phytophthora reaction: Indicate which major alleles, if any, the variety has for resistance.Soybean Cyst Nematode (SCN): Indicate if known the susceptibility or resistance.
R – Resistant, MR – Moderately Resistant, S – Susceptible, MS – Moderately Susceptible
Seed Treatment: Seeds submitted for variety testing with seed treatment applied must be noted, (type of treatment and rate) on the entry form.
2008 Trial Sites: Indicate whether the variety is to be entered in the Conventional or the Roundup Resistant southern, or central site locations. In order to enter a variety in the white mold trial, it must be entered in a southern and/or central trial site location.
