These are a set of documents that I prepared and continually update for a course that I have been teaching at Michigan State University since 1990 called Introduction to Home Computing. In 1995, I started offering the course over the World Wide Web. This course covers all of the basics of using a computer in the home or office, from a discussion of the history of computing to using word processing to what makes the Internet tick.
